การสอบถามเส้นทางในภาษาอังกฤษ

ปกติถ้าจะถามเส้นทางว่า ไป (place) ยังไง เราก็จะถามว่า How do I get to (place) ? เช่น

• Excuse me, How do I get to the bus stop? ขอโทษครับ ผมจะไปป้ายรถเมล์ได้อย่างไร
• I’m lost. ผมหลงทาง

ประโยคที่ควรรู้ในการสอบถามเส้นทางในภาษาอังกฤษ

• Excuse me, I’m looking for a Hotel. Is there a Hotel around here?
  ขอโทษครับ ผมกำลังหาโรงแรม ไม่ทราบว่ามีโรงแรมบริเวณนี้ไหมครับ
• Excuse me,  where is the hospital?
  ขอโทษครับ ไม่ทราบว่าโรงพยาบาลอยู่ที่ไหนครับ
• Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the hospital?
  ขอโทษครับ คุณพอจะบอกผมได้ไหมครับว่าจะไปโรงพยาบาลได้อย่างไร?
• You go straight and then you turn left. เดินตรงไป แล้วเลี้ยวซ้าย
• I’ll show you the way. ผมจะพาคุณไป (to show the way พาไปถึงจุดหมายปลายทาง)
• Please follow me.  กรุณาตามผมมา
• Thank you. ขอบคุณครับ

• opposite (อ๊อพโพซิท) ตรงข้าม ==> opposite the police station อยู่ตรงข้ามสถานีตำรวจ
• past (พาสท/แพสท) เลยไป
• side ด้านข้าง ==> right side ฝั่งขวา , left side ฝั่งซ้าย
• traffic การจราจร ==> traffic lights สัญญาณไฟจราจร, traffic jam รถติด
• take a left เลี้ยวซ้าย
• take a right เลี้ยวขวา
• take the first left. เลี้ยวซ้ายแยกแรก
